Business Plan | Do I Need One?
In my Book, ‘Success or Failure - The Choice is Yours!’ I have included in Appendix A an easy to follow guideline on laying out, developing and writing a Business Plan. Many times though, after mentoring small business entrepreneurs, I find that they are reluctant to do their plans. I have asked myself why this may be, other than the time and effort it takes to really define things such as your Executive Summary, Introduction, Market Analysis, Marketing Strategy, Operations and more. I feel it seems to be a daunting task, that takes a lot of soul searching and hard answers to questions you don’t even know how to ask yet. Many people come up with a good idea, a niche not being serviced, and set out full speed ahead to go ‘into business’. However, they will soon find hard times, if they haven’t done their homework and developed a well thought out plan.
I’ve written my Workbook with this in mind; to help those who want to be independent producers be successful producers. There is much more involved in developing and running a successful business than an idea, a website and some business cards! With every book purchase, which is $24.95, I offer complimentary mentoring for 30 days. If you’re not in the Phoenix metropolitan area it’s not a problem. The sessions can be via phone or email. I hope that you will take a look at the sample in the right sidebar and consider purchasing your own copy today, to get on your path to a balanced life and success.
I hope you enjoy this post from the Small Business Administration detailing why you need a business plan, and if you should have one.
